ISTA stands for the International Safe Transit Association
PDA member, Crownhill Packaging recently earned a lab certification from ISTA. This honor achieved by Crownhill did not come without hard work and a dedication to the most safe and secure packaging methods. In order to qualify, Crownhill endured a completion of a series of equipment verification forms, as well as the production of a short video. Recertification is due every 2 years, or whenever a change in the lab is made that involves the movement or relocation of equipment.

Crownhill Packaging is pleased to announce that we have recently achieved Certified Testing Laboratory accreditation from the world renown International Safe Transit Association (ISTA).
As one of the largest packaging material neutral solutions providers in North America, this latest achievement allows us to perform validated packaged-product performance tests for any organization involved in the distribution channel associated with the shipping of packaged goods from point to point.
Pre-shipment Laboratory testing along with ISTA review of test results is one of the few methodically accepted scientific processes to obtain greater confidence in today’s volatile transport environment.
