For the duration of his professional life, George Strobel has been immersed in the packaging world, observing and influencing the changing landscape. The biggest contribution that George has made in the packaging industry is undoubtedly Packaging Distributors of America (PDA), which he created to give distributors, suppliers, and customers a consortium that is solely dedicated to serving the packaging industry. PDA’s member base of distributors and suppliers eagerly joined George to share best practices and help each other continually succeed.

Year-over-year, George has proven his dedicated to disrupting the industry with unheard of passion and philosophies by PDA’s increasing membership base, increasing national accounts, and increasing total revenue within the organization. In fact, PDA now covers the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean with reach throughout Europe, partnering with a UK distributor, and represents over $1.7 Billion in packaging sales to our served communities.
Within the PDA community, there is no shortage of “thank yous” and expressions of gratitude for George and his support staff. George encompasses an attitude of transparency and honesty, family values, and community involvement that brings a deeper purpose to the organization, and never goes unnoticed by the PDA community.
