Dallas, TX – Badger Paperboard, a custom paperboard converter specializing in packaging and shipping materials, has announced the opening of a new, state-of-the-art facility near Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
“We’re proud to be the nation’s leading supplier of paperboard products,” said Mark Smiley, President of Badger Paperboard. “This expansion into Texas has helped us broaden our reach and better serve our customers in the heart of the country.”
Founded in 1990 in Fredonia, Wisconsin, Badger Paperboard focuses on producing sheets, pads and guards that protect customers’ valuable merchandise during shipping. The company’s unique BadgerKrate product also helps save space and cut shipping costs while providing an alternative to traditional U-Channel or Cornerboard.
With its new location in Texas, Badger Paperboard extends its offerings across the entire continental United States, adding to locations in Wisconsin, North Carolina and California and helping the company continue its reputation for industry-leading customer service.
“It’s our goal to make everyone a Badger fan,” Smiley says. “We’re passionate about cutting lead times and turning orders around quickly, and expanding into Dallas will help us get even faster.”
In addition to its packaging innovations, Badger Paperboard is also a leader in sustainable solutions—recycling over 1 million pounds of paperboard per year and saving 8,500 trees, 3.5 million gallons of water, 44,500 cubic feet of landfill space.
